Director, Business Development
In 2013, Mrs. Dana Miller took the helm in an entirely new role at Allstar Tech - Director, Business Development. Dana's main responsibility is to help on-board new clients while serving as the main point of contact for existing clients. Although the role of Director, Business Development may be new to Allstar Tech, Mrs. Miller is no newbie to Allstar Tech.
Dana began her career with Allstar Tech in 2007, taking a position as Administration Assistant. In 2009, after earning her stripes as a Microsoft Certified Professional she began supporting clients with their technology requirements. In 2011, she worked directly with Sage 300 ERP (ACCPAC) supporting clients automated accounting applications. Recently, she has expanded her knowledge to include Business Process Management and the ARIS Business Platform.
Dana's expertise in Business Process Management and her skills in ARIS modeling is setting the stage for the next phase of Allstar Tech's strategy. Mrs. Miller's skills with ARIS are defining how Allstar Tech helps clients develop a deep understanding of their processes. Understanding process enables business owners to make informed decisions and get the most out of their technology. Dana is passionate about helping clients get the most of their technology investment.
Dana's ability to gather requirements, test and support Carson Energy's customized time ticket database was a key component to its successful implementation. Dana assisted Carson Energy with maintaining the integration between the time ticket front-end system and the back-end Sage 300 ERP (ACCPAC) system. She trained Carson personnel on the details and daily usage of the ticketing system. Dana participated in the time ticket conversion during the Carson / Flint merger as a Business Analyst. She assisted with system documentation and prepared detail designs while serving as a member of the joint application design team.
Dana earned critical business process modeling expertise through several projects with SaskPower and the Association of Regina REALTORS® (ARR). Mrs. Miller also serves as the primary modeler with ARR and continues to provide ARIS and business process management support to both organizations.
